The Draco constellation is a large circumpolar constellation in the northern hemisphere. It winds around Ursa Minor and the North Star, remaining visible all year round for many observers. Draco is one of the oldest constellations recorded by astronomers.
Shape of the Draco constellation
Draco has a long, sinuous shape reminiscent of a snake or dragon wrapped around the north celestial pole. Its head is drawn by a quadrilateral of easily recognizable stars, while its body stretches over a large part of the sky.
