Visualize in real time the position of the Libra constellation in the sky.
General presentation
The constellation of Libra is a zodiac constellation located between Virgo and Scorpio. Visible mainly in spring and early summer in the northern hemisphere, it is relatively inconspicuous due to the absence of very bright stars. Despite this, it occupies an important place on the ecliptic and is a reference point for observing the passage of the Sun, the Moon, and the planets. Libra is the only constellation in the zodiac that represents an object rather than a living being or animal.
Shape of the Libra constellation
The constellation of Libra has a simple shape evoking a two-plate balance. Four main stars draw a slightly inclined quadrilateral, whose ends can be imagined as the two plates suspended from a central bar. Even if this form requires a bit of imagination, it is relatively easy to recognize when placed between the constellations of Virgo and Scorpio.
