The Lupus constellation is a constellation visible mainly from the regions south of the equator and in the lower latitudes of the northern hemisphere. Located near Scorpius and Centaurus, it is rich in stars and open clusters.

Shape of the Lupus constellation

The Lupus constellation draws a compact silhouette representing an animal seen in profile. Its main stars form an elongated body to which are added the head and legs, giving the impression of a moving wolf.
